Driving down Dyke Crest Road which runs along a portion of the Chilliwack River, I parked in the lot at the end and walked down the Rotary Trail.

Riverside Recreation Site

Riverside Recreation Site is tucked off to the side of Chilliwack Lake Road. It backs onto the Chilliwack River and other than the occasional road noise, is a beautiful serene place! This spot would be great for group camping as well, as it is quite open.

Solo Sunday at the River

Sometimes adventures don’t have to be planned, or very long. This unplanned Sunday drive brought me to Gill road in Chilliwack and was just the reset I needed. So many beautiful views!

Fall Solo Drive – Likely the Last One for Awhile!

Bench FSR is one of my favourite drives, but in the Fall with the leaves changing colours it is even more beautiful.
I love the views along this drive and honestly come up here whenever I can.

Rapids Recreation Site – One Peaceful Night By the River!

Located in the Beautiful Chilliwack River Valley, off of Chilliwack Lake road, is a gorgeous Recreation Site located on the banks of the river. Fall asleep listening to the sounds of the river, the calls of birds and the wind rustling the trees.
Popular for dirt bikers and quads on the weekends, you can ride right out from the campground, making it convenient but also less peaceful.
